The GOYA Ag Team is excited to announce the first corn harvest from our land in Kenya. We harvested 30 bushels from the half acre test plot with no irrigation, no herbicides, no pesticides and no fertilizers. We believe we can double the yield with some fine tuning and we've already plowed another acre of land. We will plant 1.5 acres in early October for the second crop of the year. The corn will be taken to the mill to be turned into Ugali flour, a staple food for the children in our schools, church and orphanage.
